New Member Membership Certificate Purchase Policy
All Preferred Members of the Club must own at least one membership certificate. All applicants for membership must submit the full application fee, currently $649, with their application to be considered by the board. This includes a $150 fee for the purchase of a membership certificate. There are several current and former members who have membership certificates for sale. In order to facilitate the sale of these certificates, the club will contact a seller on behalf of a new member and effect a sale.
Any applicant who purchases a membership certificate on his/her own, must, after the Board approves the application, present the membership certificate to the Treasurer for transfer. The Treasurer will then refund the new member the purchase fee, less a $10.00 certificate transfer fee.
AYC Membership Certificates for Sale
A number of individuals have notified the AYC Treasurer that they have AYC membership certificates for sale. Anyone wishing to sell certificates must notify the Treasurer (Charles Webb) by either email or regular mail (PO Box 928, Anacortes, WA 98221). Please contact Charles, or MarKay Neumann, Membership Chairman, if you have questions regarding procedures for the sale of AYC membership certificates.
