Dinghy Dock Protocol
The Anacortes Yacht Club Dinghy Dock (DD) is for the storage of performance sailing dinghies, with preference for Lasers and Lido 14’s. Storage on the DD is limited to boats owned by AYC members in good standing or junior members.
The Rear Commodore is responsible for the DD, although a Dinghy Dock Committee may be appointed by the Rear Commodore to deal with the administration, operation, maintenance and repair of the DD.
Members must sign a lease agreement and waiver of liability prior to moving their boat onto the dock.
Dinghy storage is subject to a monthly fee of $20, payable in advance. Members may terminate their lease agreement and remove their boat upon 30 days prior notice.
Lasers that are made available to the summer AYC junior sailing and training programs may be stored at no cost to the owner for three months following such use.
The right to store boats on the DD may be terminated if members do not use their boats regularly or fail to comply with the terms of the lease agreement, at the sole discretion of the Rear Commodore.
