Tulip Festival Starts This Weekend
Despite the snow, the annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival starts this weekend - when the snow melts the fields hopefully will become a riot of color and hundreds of thousands of tourists will drive or ride the country roads - leaving millions of dollars in their wake!While the fields now are less than a third of what they once were and many growers have dropped out of the tulip business, it is still a wonderful local event! As part of this event AYC will be hosting our very own Tulip Regatta on April 12 & 13. Sign-up sheets are in the club forum available now!
