Commodores Ball
Each year we honor our outgoing Commodore with a Ball. Everyone dons their finest apparel, brings a few tales from the former year, dines, and dances. The ball has been held at different venues at the whim of those making the arrangements as well as the scheduling with the venue.
The general consensus of the group is to utilize a commercial restaurant which has a clean-up staff already available. During the past ten years we’ve utilized the Skyline Club and Northern Lights Casino; for the past two years Flounder Bay Café has been patronized. The tentative date for our next Commodore’s Ball is January 17, 2009, again at the Flounder Bay Café.
