Wine-Cheese Cruise

Our annual wine and cheese cruise this year will be to the Orcas Island Yacht Club facilities at West Sound, Orcas Island. We will have access to their picnic shelter for the wine and cheese potluck that will start at 1600 hours on Saturday the 18th. Bring your favorite cheeses and wines to share along with other dishes. Members of the Orcas Island Yacht Club will be joining us for the festivities.
The picnic shelter can accommodate quite a few people but dock space, which is "first come, first served," is more limited. Therefore some boats may need to anchors / raft out. With this years event being held on Orcas Island, those who do not have access to a boat (or have access to a land yacht) are welcome to use the White & Green yachts provided by the Washington State Ferry system to join us. The 2:45pm sailing is scheduled to arrive at Orcas at 3:50pm, or you can take the earlier sailing at 11:50am that is schedule to arrive at Orcas at 12:40pm. To return there is a sailing at 7:00pm that arrives at Anacortes at 7:50pm, and a 10:30pm sailing that arrives at Anacortes at 11:20, or you can return the next day.
Being a “close in” cruise, those who do not like to venture far are encouraged to attend and see what cruising is all about.
