Nancy and I are heading to Victoria for the wooden boat show and blues bash, August 28th through September 1. The tentative plan is to leave Anacortes on the 28th around 5 PM, staying over at Fisherman's Bay on Lopez. We can meet up at the Islander that evening. Friday we are headed to Victoria's government docks. Check in to Customs at the little dock at the inner harbor. It will be crowded but they are usually great at fitting boats in. Some years we have stayed at the Coast Harborside but it's expensive and crowded. The government docks are cheap and crowded. Hors d'oeuvres at the dock, 5:30. That will give us a chance to meet each other with plenty of time for music and wandering the waterfront.

Saturday we propose meeting for Dim Sum lunch at a great restaurant in Chinatown. Sunday we can meet for dinner, location to be determined. We will be heading back to Anacortes on Monday.

We have not been on many cruises with the club and have not led an adventure like this so please give us feedback. The agenda is totally flexible. We just want to get together and have fun.
