Shakedown Cruise

It’s almost time for the first cruise of the season and we’re returning to Bellingham for the first time in several years. If the boat just isn’t ready, cruise by land up to Bellingham. Bellingham’s Squalicom Harbor Marina has reserved "P" visitors dock for AYC boats. We need to get a boat count fairly soon, so let us know if you’re coming.
THE WEEKEND'S ACTIVITIES
Friday, for early arrivals. Unfortunately, the Bellingham Yacht Club clubhouse will not be open Friday night on the weekend we will be there. If enough boats arrive by Friday late afternoon, we’ll ask them to an informal dock party at about 5:00.
Saturday Bellingham has many attractions. During the day you can visit Fairhaven, parks such as Boulevard Park, Maritime Park and Zuanich Park, antique shops, and museums. We’ll have details and maps later..There will be a dock party starting at 4:00 on Saturday. Saturday evening dinner will be at Anthony’s Restaurant (25 Bellwether Way) at 6:00. Please let us know if you plan to be at dinner so we can give the restaurant an estimate of how many to expect.
Sunday We’ll have a light breakfast on our boat, Nereid, at about 9:00 before returning to Anacortes.
