Tulip Regatta 2017

The Tulip Regatta is held each spring and consists of two days of exciting buoy racing in Fidalgo Bay!  AYC will be open Friday evening (March 31st) until 21:00 for a happy hour reception for our members and out of town racers. We will also be able to register last-minute entries at the club until 21:00.  After which registration is closed.
Racers are encouraged to register early using the Registration Link below.   Entry fee is $50 for early registration received by March 27th and $60 thereafter. You can order event T shirts and reserve your dinner tickets for the ever popular Salmon BBQ on Saturday night, using the on-line event registration app as well!  (Quantities of shirts and food are estimated based on on-line orders received by 27 March - so please don't wait too long to register!) 

One of the highlights of this regatta is the Auction on Saturday night.  Our local artist Jennifer Bowman graciously donates one of her amazingly beautiful works, the image which we use as the logo of the Tulip Regatta, for auction. All proceeds from the auction benefit Anacortes Youth Sailing.  A wonderful opportunity to own a Jennifer Bowman work and help a worthy cause!  
On Sunday following the races, the club will be open and will provide complimentary chili, hot dogs and chips for the racers prior to the Trophy awards presentation.   Come one, come all! The more the merrier!

The Tulip Regatta is open to all yachts whose skippers have completed the on-line registration process; have paid an the entry fee ; are current PHRF-NW members; and meet PIYA category III requirements. The regatta will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) 2017-2020, except as changed by the sailing instructions.  Separate starts/divisions will be provided for all one-design fleets consisting of 4 or more boats.
