Waterfront Festival

May 16 & 17, 2009

Ahoy All Skippers and Volunteers,

You are a great group to give a day or two to the Waterfront Festival. It is so appreciated by the visitors and community. We will be flying our burgee at the AYC tent located at the top of the new ramps leading to C and D Docks at Cap Sante. Harbor Master Dale Fowler has arranged for the Anacortes Yacht club to use the slips on “C” Dock for boarding and overnight moorage. All the boats will be assigned a slip for overnight, but you may load passengers on the visitor dock that runs north/south between C and D docks, when space is available. This dock will be reserved for loading passengers only. If  you plan on lying over for a longer period please use your assigned slip.

Skippers call on Channel _
19_ as you are approaching the Marina and a Volunteer will assist you in. They will be carrying hand held radios. Once docked have someone pick up the entire package for Skippers which contains sample of tickets, safety rules for public, waiver forms etc. All skippers are required to have the Declaration Page of their Yacht Insurance (requirement of Anacortes Chamber of Commerce). Please check in with AYC control desk when you are and are not available for rides. We will have a white board that shows updated information.

There will be a Sunday THANK YOU BARBEQUE for all AYC volunteers at the AYC CLUBHOUSE, 5:30PM to 8:00PM

Thank you Vic Childs, Coordinator Cell 360 202-7037    Home 360-299-9017 radioflyer77@comcast.net

The following pages are the boats, skippers and volunteers for each day of the Festival. I do thank all of you for volunteering.  If I have omitted or put someone down incorrectly -- let me know so I can correct. We should have a great Festival. Also if you can offer some help, please email me.

We definitely need more deck hands. Contact radioflyer77@comcast.net
