Our guest speaker is Michael Beemer, Director of the Marine Technology Center for Skagit Valley College. He set sail May 2025 participating in the Around the America's sailing and science expedition. He was instrumental in One Ocean's refit, electrical design, and preparations, working with students and volunteers. He has a great presentation about his 6 months aboard the ship.
Volunteers are needed for bartending, set-up and clean-up.
