This Wednesday night race was A LOT OF FUN!!!  The start-finish line was between the range mark and R2 at the refinery dock.  This was also an all boats start together on GPS time at a line that was nor even a little square to the wind!  Made for interesting start line strategies! We showed 18 knots apparent just after the start and throughout most of the weather leg – until we got into the lee of Guemes then it got light until we got around the mark and out a bit.  The course called for all boats to go through the start-finish line on the downwind leg and it was not real easy to get back to that point unless you paid attention!  Next we went to the South mark then back to the start-finish line.  John Gunn and crew prepared delicious hamburgers or cheeseburgers with green salad, potato salad and all condiments!  If you stayed home you missed a great time!!! But, as you know, I would rather be racing a sail boat than almost anything else!!  Results are up on the Regatta Network web site.  Getting better all the time!!
