The purpose of this club shall be to encourage the sport of yachting, to foster seamanship and navigation, and to provide and maintain suitable clubhouse and reciprocal facilities for the use and recreation of its members and guests.

AYC Special Event - "Get Rid Of Your Old Flares"

In conjunction with Gary White's "Fire Safety on the Water" presentation at the April General Meeting there will be a “Get Rid of Your Old Flares” party on the following Friday, April 26^th, at 5:00 PM at Seafarer’s Park (harbor entrance to the Cap Sante Marina). This is your opportunity to practice using your flares prior to needing to use them on your vessel. Bring any or all of your expired flares and "light up the skies with immunity. We have received clearance from the US Coast Guard and the Anacortes Fire Dept. to hold the event.
